GP Board Member

Dr Asif Ali has been working as a GP Principal since 2006 at Langley Health Centre.

He was born and brought up locally and graduated from Guys Kings and St Thomas' Medical school in 2002. He was awarded the Cancer Research UK Prize and the Rayne Institute Award in 2001 for his study on the effect of health sanctions in Iraq.

He has previous experience as Medical Director of Berkshire East Community Health Services and more recently as Clinical lead for Shaping the Future Programme.

Currently he is the acute contract lead for Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital and the Slough CCG Performance lead. He is also a GP trainer within the Oxford Deanery.
